Very early production did not include the Crystal Calibrator function switched from the Antenna Trimmer control or the built-in speaker. This pace setting radio broke the long standing trend of building larger, ever heavier receivers. This receiver was superior in performance to its contemporaries at a fraction of the size, weight and price. There is strong collector demand for this historically significant model. The first run was produced for Universal Service (now Universal Radio). |
